Velocity Dance Center’s Performance Company gives students the opportunity to share their love of dance through a community driven program. Our company members have numerous opportunities throughout the year to perform all over Oklahoma City. We have an annual Christmas Performance at the local retirement communities throughout the month of December. It is a great way for our performers to share the Christmas spirit, the residents look forward to our return each season, and this year our performances were standing room only! We also perform at community events such as the Festival of the Arts and Primetime for the Oklahoma City Thunder. In the summer of 2010 we are traveling to Orlando, Florida to dance at Disney Magic Music Days! The first of our bi-annual trips!

Students in Performance Company will also have the opportunity to get to know other students in the studio that are in other classes through the Performance Company experience. Students will also have the chance to participate in exciting events and parties with the other company members during the year and throughout the summer.

Velocity Dance Center's Competition Company is reserved for our most serious dancers.  Students who participate in this company take multiple classes a week in all forms and styles of dance.  Students in this company must be both driven and committed.  These students are held to the highest standard.

Mini Company is a way for students to begin to explore the performing opportunities we have available at Velocity Dance Center.  Mini Company students take classes in ballet, jazz, and tap and have the opportunity to take hip hop as well.  Mini Company students participate in competitive and community performance events.  Students who participate in Mini Company have little out of class commitment but have the advantage of exploring the world of competitive and community dance.
